The guns in Hawken are of two categories: primary, and secondary weapons.
Weapons overheat – you won’t have to look for ammo on the maps because there won’t be any in the game.

Primary Weapons

The primary – or right hand – weapon will be the one you use most of the time. It overheats slowly and has a short cooldown time. These are the primary weapons revealed to this point:

• POINT-D VULCAN – Minigun: medium spread, high fire rate
• FLAK CANNON – Shotgun: high spread, strong, low fire rate
• HEAT CANNON – Cannon with a slight delay
• SA HAWKINS – no specifics yet
• EOC REPEATER – E.O.C. stands for Explosive Ordnance Chain
• SLUG RIFLE – no specifics yet

Secondary Weapons

The secondary – or left hand – weapon is more of a power weapon. While very strong, it overheats quickly and has high cooldown times.

• SABOT RIFLE – Sniper rifle
• TOW LAUNCHER – Rocket launcher
• HELLFIRE ROCKETS – Fires a spread of rockets which home in on target if locked-on first
